Photoshop: Patrick at One Year Old

I have a love-hate relationship with Photoshop.  I hate how time-consuming and tedious it is--and how not-very-user friendly it is.  I do love that it can do nearly ANYTHING you want to a photo or graphic.

Anyways, since I am probably going to be teaching a bit of Photoshop next year, I figured I'd start playing around with it more and getting better at using it.  Like I tell my students, they BEST way to learn a program is to use it and play around with it!

I've been playing around with Photoshop lately, and I thought I could create a 1-year stats chalkboard print for Patrick.  I wanted this to be done before his party so I could have it displayed, but alas, this weekend got a tad busy and I didn't get to finish it.  I did have some free time after the weekend birthday party craziness, and I hammered this out.  I'm really happy with how it turned out, and want to get it printed and framed and hung ASAP!  Haha!

Most of the fonts I got for free at (my favorite free font site) dafont.com, and some I (or friends--spot your font in there Robyn?!!) created.  Maybe if this becomes a regular Photoshop thing for me I'll continue to share these creations with you all...if you'd be up for it!
