24 Weeks 🌈
24 weeks!!!! 13 weeks to go. And yes, I'll be counting down the weeks (and pretty soon the days!) until this babe gets here! It was exactly 3 months to go from yesterday and boy oh boy, I cannot CANNOT wait.
I had a great checkup last week at 23 weeks with my OB -- babe looked great on the quick ultrasound peek we took and heartrate was in the 160s. Rosie got to come along with me for the first time and she very much enjoyed seeing her new little sibling on the screen and hearing his/her heartbeat!!
This was maybe my favorite pic from our visit -- that's the face she gave me when I told her I had to pee in that TEENY TINY cup instead of the potty. HAHA!! I swear I don't understand why they haven't perfected this for pregnant people. IT IS SO NOT EASY PEEING IN THAT!
My next appointment is next week, and then the one after that (at the end of August) I have my 3 hour glucose test (just electing to do that one since I always fail the 1 hour by just a few points). I think I counted I just have 10 OB/high risk appointments to go to before this kiddo is hatched!! CRAZY!!! My current gender prediction is a boy...not sure why, cause the high HR points to girl, but I just guess with all of the moving and such going on in there ALLLLL day long it feels like a wild boy to me! HAHA!
Anyways, that's about all I've got...I've been keeping SO BUSY with snappin' (I have 8 birth mamas due now between 8/16 and 9/13! OMG!!) that I think that's helped keep my anxiety at bay a bit...keeping me focused on other things. But, I promise you, it's still there, and Clark is always at the forefront of my mind along with this kiddo. Really wish I could hit fast-forward to November! GAH!
