11 Weeks 🌈
11 weeks today! Mondays come and start a new week for #5 and I feel like even though I've shared my earlier bloggin' with weeks 4-10, I have some back-sharing I want to do here too.
I had an appointment with Dr. Jen last week and I asked her to wheel in the portable ultrasound cause although we heard this bean on the doppler (178 heart rate...holy cow!) I wanted to see him/her too...and then she had me take a video too!! SHE IS THE BEST.
I've never gotten to take an ultrasound video before that was fun to see this little one wiggling and a'movin' around on the screen!! I swear he/she even waved at us :)
Not gonna lie, once we shared our news I felt like I didn't have to keep hiding my bump anymore...cause, as you can see above, it is POPPIN' like crazy! I guess when it's baby #5, your body is like OH HELLO WE REMEMBER THIS and outtttt it goes!!
I have found this kiddo every time I've checked (starting at 9 weeks) on my doppler and it's a great sound to hear. Although I very much remember hearing this sound with Clark and thinking 'everything was good' and we all know it very much was not... which is probably why I asked Dr. Jen to do an ultrasound at my appointment last week too just to 'see'. There is so much relief that comes in hearing the heartbeat, but also SEEING IT too.
I have an appointment with Dr. Paul next week for an in-depth 12 week ultrasound and just to checkin...and then my normal appointment with Dr. Jen and another ultrasound a few days later! I already feel like this pregnancy is zipping by, and I hope it continues to do so because I want nothing more than to have that baby in my arms in November. And here's my little weekly insights too...which I haven't done any of these yet so this is my first one!
