19 Weeks 🌈
I shared yesterday in my 1SE post about being halfway done with the year and halfway done with this pregnancy...and gosh...that's RIGHT. I am not suppose to go past 38 weeks so today would be 19 weeks to go until 38...but this kid could come sooner like 37. I cannot CANNOT believe it!
So I had my 18 week appointment last week and Dr. Jen just took a quick peek on the ultrasound and everything looked SO GOOD. Sigh of freaking relief. I've got my big anatomy scan on WEDNESDAY and I am literally COUNTING DOWN THE MINUTES until that. I don't think there'll be any surprises that we haven't seen yet but my anxiety I'm sure will still be through the roof. Heck, it already is!
Feeling pretty good for 19 weeks...getting bigger (so curious how this babe is measuring in there!!!) but still getting around and up and down okay and not having any major issues...yet. The second trimester really is the sweet spot for feeling good so I'm savoring in that.
Of course, I cannot CANNOT shake the 19 week feeling from just back in October with Clark...very different from how I'm feeling now: a lot of paranoia and just flat out worried. I mean, I still have those, but for the reason of Clark's pregnancy and not necessarily that I'm feeling bad vibes with this one -- kinda the contrary and everything seems to be pointing to a healthy pregnancy and baby. BUT STILL. So freaking hard to shake. I'm sure I never will.
I will say I have felt SO MUCH MOVEMENT this week. Like not just tiny flutters but full on kicks and punches. I'm hoping in the next few weeks Mike will be able to feel them too on the outside of my belly. Sure got an active kiddo in there I think :) Probably a boy -- don't remember the girls moving THIS MUCH early on! haha!
I PROMISE to have a lovely 19 week 2 day ultrasound update for you later this week after HOPEFULLY a great scan, report, and oodles of ultrasound pics! I then have in another 2.5 weeks a big 22 week ultrasound back with Dr. Paul's office just to double check and make sure everything looks good. I'll be curious if Dr. Jen sets my c-section date this week...we usually set that after my anatomy scan.
