Rosie's Nails
It was a big day 'round these parts for Rosie.
Rosie got her first mani and pedi! I was in desperate need for a pedicure myself, so I asked Rosie if she wanted to go too to celebrate going pee and poop on the potty all of the time now. She said YES!!! And told me she wanted pink nail polish.
So we braved the 10 degree weather and headed off to the nail salon and oh my goodness, was she excited!
She picked out a few shades of pink, and then settled on one with sparkles over it. How appropriate! HA!
This place has the best little chairs for little kids so it was just perfect for her. She was giddy with excitement getting up there and having her feet washed and massaged.
I obviously brought my big camera for a few snaps and I'm so glad I did! She was just too darn cute getting her nails done and obviously LOVING every second of it!
I have a feeling this won't be our last trip :) Maybe next time we'll ask NeeNee and Grandma to go with us too!
Getting my nails done always reminds me of Goose -- she sure liked to get hers done as well! I'm sure she was smiling down on Ro as she was getting hers done for the first time.
Anyways, the New Year is off to a great start -- let's hope the potty training keeps going strong and Rosie keeps loving going on the potty! I have a feeling these mommy-daughter dates may happen a lot in our future...we'll have to bring Annie too when she gets a smidgen older as well!
Have a great one friends!
