21 weeks.

Happy Thanksgiving!  21 weeks today!  So much to be thankful for this year, primarily my little man running circles around me day in and day out, this little babe cookin' in my belly, my fabulous husband, our pup Scooter that he's alive and doing well after his attack, friends, family, and so much more.  I could go on forever!  ...but I'll spare you for now.  I'm sure I'll have a Thanksgiving post coming later.y

Anyways, so 21 weeks today!  This little guy or gal has really been super active this past week, so much so that Mike has been able to feel (numerous times!) kicking and punching on the outside of my tummy.  I think this is about 4 weeks earlier than last time, so it's very exciting and he loves feeling the baby move.  It probably helps that my placenta is on the back of my uterus, therefore not in the way of kicks to the part of my belly that {select} people can feel.  Anyways, so yay for baby movement!  It is the greatest feeling in the world.

The bump is definitely continuing to grow, which is great!  Grow baby grow!  But what isn't great is that some of my maternity tops are already becoming on the short side.  WHAT.THE.HECK.  Come on, I've got another 18 weeks left to go, don't fail me now shirts!  It looks like pretty soon I'll have to enter the limited clothing rotation phase and wear the same shirts over and over again.  Please don't judge me.  I'm done with buying new maternity clothes and will just make work the ones I've got.

Other than that, nothing else exciting to report for week 21, other than (as this broken record has been saying the past a'many weeks) I feel like this pregnancy is FLYING by and April will be here before I know it!  Getting the c-section date set and directions for day before/morning of in the mail this past week has made it all the more real!  Of course this kid could come before then, but still, it feels very real now that we have an actual date and proceedings set.  Whoa.  But I'm ready--I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl and snuggle this new squish and make Patrick a big brother.  Great.  Now I'm getting all emotional at the end of this post!  Ahhh!  I'll leave it here.  Until week 22, adios!
